It is very much about what we’re doing now as well as what we want to provide for future generations. It’s about all people, all species and caring for the world we live in. In Education for Sustainability (EfS), we are interested in understanding the relationship between people and the planet. We learn the skills to think and to take actions in ways that safeguard the well-being of all people and the planet.
Do you want to:
Understand how we can work towards a sustainable future;
Be a kaitiaki (guardian) for the planet; and
DO something about climate change, pollution, habitat loss, waste…?
Are you willing to:
Do fieldwork and research;
Write reports and/or orally or visually present your findings; and
Work with others, listen to their points of view, and challenge your own views and behaviours?
If you have a school google account, you will be able to access more details about the course and assessments here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xtPvCp9GwcuZTqKacYsquj-FJVMed7rItH7M...
