I’m saving myself to help save the world
What you do isn’t just going to affect you. We have a ripple effect on those around us that can build to a large impact on the community. It is good to explore possible self-improvement for a short period to see if it is a permanent change we would like to embrace. Examples like concentrated recycling/composting or zero plastic bag shopping can complement more intensive ideas like ethical food producers, buying locally, reducing processed sugar or coupling exercise with healthy eating. We will look at the impact of consumers choice on producers’ decisions as well as how to be an ethical consumer and responsible purchaser.
This is a project-based block which includes making a plan for personal well-being and keeping a log of progress and production of a reflection.
