2016 term 4 Reading programme, level 3-4

To work with students through guided reading SHARP programme to learn comprehension and retell strategies.
We will use journals and other reading age appropriate texts as a tool for reading, in conjuction with Hiton Ayery activities to strengthen understanding of text after group discussion.
We will also have a focus on reading, practising and performing plays, due to popular demand.

To Do List: 
use 'I think that means' to unpack each sentence to develop deeper understandings
read level appropriate texts independently and with group support
share and discuss criteria for ITTM judgements
work with students to make judgements on our ITTM statements
practise and perform plays as small groups
