The the focus for the writing program non fiction writing and is using the storytelling method of Chris Smith - explore, brainstorm, map, act, shared write write individually, edit, publish.

This work will explore how to do instructional writing.

Students will create instructions fro caring for an imaginary or real animal.

This will also be our assessed crafted piece.

The writing groups are split into three parts .
1) Independent writers level 4 + following a map of jobs in the independent task. Mentored
2) The second group Level 3 group mapping and independent mapping and writing.
3) The third group level 1-2, small groups 1 la to 6 kids,group mapping shared writing, independent writing.

Literacy Progression conferences continue for individuals.

Research and using learning in instructions.
Create a map with pictures.
Act out this map
Create a draft from this map
Edit draft
Publish.
