T3 2016 - Gina's Stage 4 Caterpillars Maths Group
Students will work in small groups with their LA 3 times per week, to learn the knowledge and strategies below.
Level 2:
Number Strategies:
- Use simple additive strategies with whole numbers and fractions.
Number Knowledge:
- Know forward and backward counting sequences with whole numbers to at least 1000.
This term we will be focussing on identifying fractions and calculating a fraction of a set.
We will then move on to addition and subtraction and work on revising our stage 4 strategies and learning some new ones.
