“Ko te manu e kai ana te miro, nona te ngahere.
Ko te manu e kai ana te matauranga, nona te Ao”
The bird who partakes of the miro berry, theirs is the forest.
The bird who partakes of knowledge, the World belongs to them.

We have begun the basics in Te Reo Maori and now lets extend our vocabulary!!! We will revise what we already know and work towards gaining more words to put into sentence structures. The more you learn the more games will be played to help you learn. We will also be looking at Maori Art and begin on Kowhaiwhai this term.
