2.3 BIGGER FASTER STRONGER (91329) (4 credits)(L1 Lit)
Students will learn about principles and methods of training and how to improve fitness and strength. With this knowledge you can then create a program and improve physical skills. We also do some Ex Phys labs looking at effects of exercise on the body. Along with this we will do some advanced fitness testing at the Canterbury University.
3.1 AS 91498 4 credits “Making a Change for the Better”
Part of this standard involves taking part in various physical initiatives that have been used in the past to engage others in physical activity. Then evaluate these and come up with strategies for themselves that will contribute to their lifelong wellbeing
