Independent Historical Inquiry.2
This term-long course is designed to support students with independent inquiries for NCEA assessment. It is essential that students have an understanding of the goals associated with the learning from term 1. Students will identify an appropriate topic, design a research plan and collect relevant information in support of an overall driving statement and a number of specific focusing questions. Setting and meeting deadlines and a critical reflection of the research process are also part of this objectives of this course. This course is a pre-requisite for students wishing to be assessed for effective presentation of historic inquiries in term 3. This is a 10 week course.
