We will look to develop skills, strategy and knowledge around multiplication this term. For some students this will be a focus on learning how to skip count in 2's, 5's and 10's, and the relationship between skip counting and times tables/division facts. For others, there will be more of a focus on learning the times tables basic facts off by heart, practising using these in meaningful contexts and beginning to develop knowledge around how to use the written method to solve multiplication problems with bigger numbers.
