Term two - this course is for the whole year and started in term one. Students are encouraged to explore and develop ideas that are of personal interest. Once you have found these ideas, we will find ways of conceptualizing these as visual imagery. You will be required to explore a variety of mediums ranging from wet to dry. Wet being paint, Acrylic, watercolour, printmaking and ink mayb a variety of these mediums, dry ranging from pencil, charcoal, pastels, digital and all that fun stuff.....

In Term 2, students will have the option to work on NCEA standards offered. 90917 Produce a finished work that demonstrates skill appropriate to cultural conventions 4 credits internally assessed.
90914 Use drawing methods and skills for recording information using wet and dry media. 4 credits Internally assessed
90915 Use drawing conventions to develop work in more than one field of practice 6 credits Internally assessed
90916 Produce a body of work informed by established practice, which develops ideas, using a range of media 12 credits External
