This course is designed for senior students who are interested in learning about or working in the Tourism Industry. Prior to the Covid era - Tourism was the largest export earner in NZ. It created the most jobs and each year the growth increased. This Term we are focusing on the Business of Tourism. This includes its different work roles, how it operates as a business, what tourists need, Its impacts on the environment, and the social and cultural impacts of Tourism.

10 - 13 NZQA-recognised credits at level 2 are avaliable. (This course is largely taught out of workbooks. What you get out of this course comes down to the effort you put in.)
