This course will explore the historical significance of Neoliberalism for NZ. We will explore the origins and ongoing implications of this political, economic and social ideology. This inquiry builds on successful research from term 1, with students’ self-management and reflection on learning key outcomes with assessment focusing on an essay explaining differing perspectives associated with Neoliberalism. Understanding the use of historical resources to identify significance as well as to explain differences of opinion, values and actions are part of the learning focus for this term. Assessment opportunities exist for Level 2 History 91232 and Level 3 History 91437.
