COURSE 1

This course is for students who are planning to study mathematics at a higher level.
Greg will be teaching this class.

The course will be run in term blocks.
Term 1 AS 91030 Apply Measurement in Solving Problems ( 3 credit int)
AS 91037 Demonstrate understanding of Chance and Data ( 4 credit ext )

Term 2 AS 91035 Investigate a Multivariate data Set (4 credit int )
AS 91028 Investigate Relationships between Tables, Equations and Graphs
(4 credit ext)

Term 3 AS 91027 Apply Algebraic Procedures in Solving Problems (4 credit external that will be assessed by a 1 hour exam set by NZQA in September )

Term 4 revision for externals
Total credits - 19
The course is eligible for subject endorsement.

COURSE 2

This will be the same as Course 1 but AS 91028 will be replaced by AS91029 Apply Linear Algebra in Solving Problems (3 credit internal )
Total credits - 18
The course is eligible for subject endorsement.

COURSE 3

This course is for students who are NOT planning to study Mathematics at a higher level and need 10 credits for NUMERACY.

The three Achievement standards are internally assessed so this means the course is not eligible for subject endorsement.
Jessica will be teaching this class.

The course will be run in term blocks.
All assessments will be internals.
Term 1 - AS 91026 - Apply Numeric Reasoning in Solving Problems (4 credits)
Term 2 - AS 91030 - Apply Measurement in Solving Problems ( 3 credits )
Term 3 - AS 91038 - Investigate a Situation involving Elements of Chance (3 credits )

Term 4 - reassessment opportunity / catch up
Total credits - 10
