Course Overview
Course Name MATHEMATICS LEVEL 2
There will be two courses in 2022.
One course is for students who are planning to study Mathematics with Statistics at Level 3 This option is in RED block.
Three of the Achievement standards are externally assessed and one is internally assessed so this means the course is eligible for subject endorsement.

The second course is for students who are planning to study Mathematics with Calculus at Level 3.This class will run in Purple block.
Two of the standards are externally assessed and two are internally assessed so this means the course is eligible for endorsement.
Louise will be teaching both classes.
A graphics calculator is recommended by NZQA.
The courses will be run in term blocks.
Term 1 - AS 91259 and AS 91267
Term 2 - AS 91267 and AS91261
Term 3 - AS 91261 and AS91262 or AS 91264
Term 4 - revision for externals OR completion of AS91264
Literacy and/or Numeracy requirements for NCEA
Where a standard has a “ Y “ in the column, achievement of the standard will contribute to that requirement.
