45Maths is a core numeracy course. Topics will be covered at a generally slow pace and content will focus on core numeracy skills, financial literacy and 'maths for life'. This course does NOT set out to prepare students to progress into higher level maths/ science courses.

In term 1 we will focus on core number topics - fractions, decimals and percentages. We will be using banqer high and sorted-in-schools to explore how these concepts relate to life after school in terms of jobs, taxes and savings.
