Tukuna kia auaha tātou! Let us be creative!
Tukutuku are the stories told in this artform to tell the stories of the people in an area of a Wharenui. It is the wallpaper of a traditional wharenui. Some Tukutuku have the same name while others tell a specific Iwi's story/legend.
We will start with a basic card and wool, working toward harakeke/flax, raupo/reed and pingao/sedge if time allows.
I hope you can tell a story in your own Tukutuku.
