Kapa Haka Forever! Learn the following:

Wiki 6: Learn a haka with taiaha,
Wiki 7: Learn a waiata with poi; revise haka
Wiki 8: Learn a waiata-a-ringa/ action song; revise poi
Wiki 9: Revise the three items in an order
Wiki 10: Finale; perform the three items

'Kapa Haka Forever' is to start building up our Kapa Haka from Year 1 to Year 13 here at Ao Tawhiti so we are beginning to teach a bracket for performances. Hopefully those who excel will later enter Te Rangaihi Primary Schools Competition in the future for more experience in competition.

Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi, engari he toa takitini.
‘My strength is not that of a single warrior but that of many.’

This refers to the collective effort necessary for the success of the periodical group of warriors-toa grouped-taki as many-tini, but the pēpeha applies equally in any situation where the combined efforts of many are needed to complete a project. This pēpeha is attributed to Paterangi of Ngāti Kahungunu.
