In this class, we’ll learn to draw a box!

‘Draw a box?’ you say! ‘Harumph! I refuse to start learning drawing fundamentals with something so basic. My skills are far beyond a simple box.’

Well, joke’s on you, because drawing a box will probably be one of the last things you learn in this course - you’ll only draw the mighty box after you’ve mastered all sorts of other fundamental drawing skills (which I promise you, you probably don’t know. Whether you think you’re a decent drawer, or a total noob - there’s so much you don’t know about drawing. You don’t even know how much you don’t know about drawing).*

The good thing about this course is that we’ll all be at the same level - if you’ve always written yourself off as ‘not being able to draw’, well, now’s your chance to prove yourself wrong.

*Spoiler alert: I don’t know this stuff either! I’m going to go along this journey with you, to try to improve my drawing fundamentals. I’ve dipped into the free course we’ll be following (https://drawabox.com): it’s slow, and laborious, but really highly rated and satisfying to see improvements in your own basic shapes. You’ll need to come to this class each day with a pencil! Or if you have some fancy drawing pens, bring them along. Or, for those of you who want to learn drawing fundamentals digitally, bring your own tablet and stylus! Your phone will not be suitable, required, or welcome in this class. :)
