HB Pōhutukawa Afternoon Programme Term 2 2021

To meet the Passions and Interests outlined by the ākonga late in Term 1, as well as IEM goals set in the term 2 IEMs our afternoon programme is diverse and varied.

The planned programme has a range of trips and one-off workshops aimed at offering learning and exposure to a wide variety of information, experiences and topics that we can use to build the programme of learning in term 3.

There are LA-led workshops as well as parent-led workshops planned, many (walking) trips within the CBD to places like Turanga, the Museum and Art Gallery and also several trips to locations outside of the CBD such as Ferrymead, Clip'n'Climb and Travis Wetland.

Curriculum areas covered within the programme include: Science, Music, Social Studies, Learning Languages, Technology, Health and PE and Art.
