We will practice writing strategies to improve writing. In particular, we will focus on developing ideas, word choices, structure, sentence fluency, and writing conventions. In each class you will have short writing challenges to complete.

Outcomes:

I can focus in class; follow instructions; complete assigned tasks; and hand tasks in on Google Classroom

I can write with a variety of sentence styles; lengths; and beginnings

I can develop a thesis in a piece of descriptive writing

I can use strong vivid verbs and interesting adjectives in descriptive writing

I can organise descriptive writing using clear and focused paragraphs
