This is a combination course, with half of the week exploring the Pause, Breathe Smile mindfulness course and the other half focusing on foundation drama skills.
Mindfulness: We will be looking at the amazing world of mindfulness and the benefits that it has for young people. The course will take you on a cool mission where you will learn essential skills that could help you manage your hauora and be more present in the moment.
Drama: Students will learn how to use the essential drama techniques of voice, body, movement and space to create characters, perform short scripts and devise their own short scenes.
Being present and mindful are skills needed for performers too. So it's a win win!
