LA Code:

Kaua e mate wheke mate ururoa
Don't die like a octopus, die like a hammerhead shark

Octopus are renown for their lack of resistance when being captured, however a hammerhead shark will fight bitterly to the end, to the point that when you fillet it fresh, its meat quivers. Commonly used to encourage someone not to give up, no matter how hard the struggle is.

I want to make this a FUN class SO.... I want to teach you the basics!!! Have you able to start speaking in Te Reo and understanding a SECRET LANGUAGE no-one else in the school will understand!!!!!

If you wish to gain NCEA credits Level 1, 2 & 3 YOU WILL need to do homework! An akonga/student will be expected to work towards learning sentence structures for kōrero/speech and whakarongo/listening exams during this term if that is what you want. Otherwise, I will find Unit Standards relating to the SECRET LANGUAGE!!!

Also, we plan to have a Marae stay this term with credits attached.
