Daily Walk Term 2

Children will participate in a daily walk with their classmates. Walks are between 15 - 30 minutes and are all in the general area of school.

Outcomes: Learn some routines and follow them. Participate and contribute to home base activities.
Learn about road safety and walking etiquette. Be part of a group and community. Explore different ways of learning about the world through observation and discussion. Get to know what is around us and become more aware of our environment and where to find things in the community. Learn about animals which share our urban habitat. Learn in different curriculum areas through learning about our environment. Be healthy through regular exercise. Provide some opportunities to write about.
