Lithosphere: Fire & Ice
Link to Course Overview
In this course, we study our planet from the inside out. Our focus this term starts with the internal structure of the Earth and the processes associated with tectonic plate movement, such as volcanoes and earthquakes. We then move on to the surface of the Earth to look at weathering and erosion, rivers and glaciers. In later terms, we will cover other Earth sciences and processes found in the atmosphere, hydrosphere and biosphere.
