2020 Term 4 One-on-one programme

From 9:30am-2pm/2:30pm, the student will work one-on-one with a teacher aide. She will deliver a well-rounded curriculum programme. Our goal is to support the student with learning and guide them towards progressing. They will also be supported and encouraged to participate in whole-class activities.

This programme will cover:
Phonics- using Yolanda Soryl's programme.

Spelling- Sight words.

Reading- starting at the beginning and progressing through the colour wheel, reading chapter book.

Writing- using engaging games, free writing, focus on interesting adjectives, punctuation, the "5 Ws", planning, conjunctions, instructional writing, comics, sentence-building resource.

Numeracy- sequencing numbers, counting backwards, groups to 20, basic facts add/sub, place value, using materials, strategies, written standard, skip counting, recognising numeracy symbols, telling time.
