Reading in the Nest - Term 2
Learn the routines and expectations of reading in groups in the nest.
Become familiar with being in a reading group and the expectations of behaviour.
Stop activity and come to reading group when called.
Learn where to start, directionality and 1:1 pointing.
Practice saying beginning sounds.
Making sure reading makes sense.
Use pictures for clues.
Participate in Phonics and use knowledge for reading.
