Poverty. Hunger. Homelessness. Racism. Homophobia. Climate Change. Let's take action towards addressing some of these problems.

In this term long course, we'll start with a background to senior social studies (level six) and social studies concepts. Once we have the basic understandings in place, we'll move on to identifying and exploring issues of concern to you and then finally, and most importantly, empowering you to take action on your issue. There are four stages to your action:
1) Research your issue
2) Make a plan
3) Carry out your action
4) Reflect and report back on your action

Be prepared to work in pairs or groups, work hard, get involved and have fun.
