This course runs for both 2.1 and 2.2. It is about geographic research in the city. We will be utilising our local environment as a context for conducting research. We will cover research methods and processes and then it will be up to you to work through a research process. If you are working at L2 NCEA, you get LA guidance and if you are at L3 NCEA you do it in consultation with the LA. Topics might include, microclimates in the city, Traffic flows, landuse change, homelessness, tourism or anything we can map really. Should be fun!

Talk to Craig if you want to join this class but did not do it in 2.1
Assessment comes from the L2 or L3 Geographic Research standards worth 5 Credits
