Playing for Change
This course is a continuation of term 1.1 New students are WELCOME. In 1.1, students have chosen songs to perform at a school lunchtime concert, as preparation for busking in town.
Playing for change started a movement to connect the world through music. Here at Ao Tawhiti I want to start something similar - use the power of music to connect people in the community.
The way I think we should is to start to busk, and perform, and then to start to record and collaborate as playing for change has championed. We can donate some of the money we make from busking to a good cause.

WHATEVER level of music you are at the moment - you can join! This is also about helping build your confidence and to give you inspiration to practice harder and improve.
Students at any year level can join Playing for Change. As we develop production assessments 'may' be possible at NCEA.
