This course will work toward achieving the external Science standard for (conventional) entry into Level 2 Physics. Completion of the learning for this standard will take place over term 1.1 and 1.2.
It analyses velocity in one dimension using basic constant velocity formulae and displacement and velocity-time graphs.
We'll look at Newton's three laws of motion and strangely (because the standard requires it) delve into Pressure.
In term 1.2 we'll use conservation of energy arguments to calculate the various quantities such as the height and velocity of falling objects or objects accelerated by other means.
