Cafe Economics: focusing on yum
This course is mainly project based and aims to develop students into independent thinkers and learners who are able to drive their own learning experiences.
Please Note: This course has changed but its focus will still be on practical skills. Students must have access to a kitchen and have tolerant parents. This class will focus on making and presenting food.
Students, in consultation with the LA, may also work towards NCEA goals. These can include, Social Studies, Economics, or Business Studies.
Students can choose to do projects that are either NCEA focused and/or of interest.
Students are able to join this class at any stage during the year. The length of the course is optional.
