Philosophy of Knowledge and Skepticism
This continues from the previous block. Having learned about the logical structure of arguments and established a definition of knowledge, we now delve into skepticism.
1. Do ghosts exist?
2. Can psychics talk to the dead?
3. Can a clairvoyant really foresee my future?
Students will analyze arguments in relation to these questions and decide for themselves whether the arguments are rationally convincing.
Students will work towards developing a philosophical inquiry about one of their own beliefs.
