Project: Tennis and/or Fitness
Tennis and/or Fitness Project:
Note: You may choose to just engage in Tennis, or just Fitness, or a combination of both.
Tennis: Learn how to serve, play rallies, scoring and tactics. Depending on numbers we may get a professional coach to help us out as well. We would be playing at Hagley Park Tennis Club. You don't need to have your own racket and you don't need to have played before.
Fitness: You can choose any sport/fitness aspect you want. It could be shooting free throws in basketball, serving in tennis, running 5km, cycling up the port hills or canoeing up the avon. We will do a baseline test, develop a training programme and then measure the outcome at the end. Note 1: If you don't have a trust licence, your sporting goal will have to be carried out in the gym on Level 4. Note 2: This project could be expanded to twice in the week or combined with the tennis project.
