We're going to have an America's Cup race. The only difference from the real thing is that in groups you're going to build your boat out of cardboard. (And you don't get their budget, TV rights, or anything else that remotely resembles the America's Cup.)

You'll paint it to make sure it doesn't sink too fast, but the hull must be built of cardboard.

The first stage will be deciding the rules. Then you'll design - we may do some brief Physics for you to consider when designing your boat, and we'll make sure we get that right by building a scale model before we go into sourcing materials and building. Propulsion could be achieved in multiple ways and you'll need to consider that.

In the end we'll race - just remember: To finish first - You first must finish!
