This project is for people who like to make things that are 3 dimensional. We are going to create a free standing sculpture from a variety of materials such as cardboard, plaster, wire, found objects, paper mache and other things. Glue guns, staples, pins and nails, PVA glue and string are just some of the materials we will use to help keep things together.

It should take you six weeks to build your sculpture to a finished standard. Along the way we will look at what sculpture is, why people have made it, where it can belong and how your sculpture fits into a space.

This is an individual inquiry kind of project with lots of experimenting.
Plus, we will get out around town to have a look at sculpture that already exists in the CBD to help us develop ideas.
