A combined program that embeds reading in context of writing skills.

Weekly focus in varying literacy areas to ensure curriculum coverage and student enjoyment.

Where possible create opportunities for real world learning.

Using the google site with real world texts for reading to build in independence.

Creating google sites, or blogs to share writing within another environment and develop further skill sets.

Editing skills moving beyond surface features to deeper ones as part of the Writing Book fluent writers focus.

Areas covered in this program include,
articles, reports, research and using this research effectively in their own words, debate, poetry, narrative writing for effect including foreshadowing, voice, simile, descriptive writing, editing.
