After doing the assessment for Linear algebra we will study MORE ALGEBRA and will cover the following topics -

Simplifying, expanding, fractions, exponents, substitution, factorising, rearranging and solving linear, quadratic, exponential and simultaneous equations.

This topic is assessed by an NZQA - no calculator/technology - 1 hour skills test -on Tuesday September 17th This is the MCAT external assessment AS 91027 – Apply algebraic procedures in solving problems – 4 credits.

If you have not done algebra before and are not prepared to work hard do not sign up for this course as the content is challenging.

Outcomes: 
I can do three of - forming a model from a graph - forming a linear model from an equation - using a model and graphing a linear model.
I can use a model and relate this to a context.
