This is a new course, so it might be a little weird. But it may also be quite fun!

It's tagged as Psychology, but if you've ever been in any of my classes before you'll realise that they should all be tagged as Psychology... and English... and Media Studies... (and probably a few other NSFW terms, too)

In this course, we'll examine a some more Psychological concepts from the realm of social psychology and abnormal psychology. We'll see how various books and films demonstrate these concepts.*

In terms of assessments, a range of assessment opportunities will be given from the realms of Psychology, English and Media Studies. Students will be expected to have a measure of self-direction in their selection of assessment. Any students wishing to enrol in this course does so knowing that in 3.2, the option to complete assessments based on our studies will be in there.

*Some of the texts studied will inevitably be R16 - and some of the topics will inevitably only be suitable for a mature audience! Please keep this in mind before enrolling in the course.
