An Introduction to Algebra

Algebra is a branch of mathematics that substitutes letters for numbers. It involves logic, being systematic, problem solving, reasoning and thinking skills – all very good skills to develop!!! A quad book is essential.

Outcomes: 
I can use measurements in calculations and conversions to solve simple problems. I can convert words to symbols and vice versa. I can substitute a numerical value into a formula. I can carry out simple algebraic manipulations.
