This block we'll look at the physics of electricity and how current flow around a DC circuit can be analysed using Kirchoff laws.

We'll look at how the magnetic field around a current carrying wire can be used to create electric motors.

We'll look at current and voltage in AC circuits and the phase relationship of the voltage across resistors, capacitors and inductors.

We should also have time at the end to begin working towards AS91527: Socioscientific Issue. This is an optional 3 credit internal. We'll discuss what socioscientific issue we want to look at and the learning required to do so.
