All animals live in a different sensory world to humans. In this course we will learn what is important to animals (and plants) and how we can study them. There are two components of this course, one is theory based in preparation for an external worth 5 credits. The other is practical-based, and will involve a trip to Orana Park to learn how to study animals. You then have the option to carry out an investigation and write a report (internal, 4 credits). Both components will run into Block 1.2. This is an important preparation for the remainder of the Level 3 Biology course.
