Working at stage 2 of the Numeracy Project: moving from Counting from one on Materials to Counting from one by Imaging.
Children will be able to:
- Read any number up to 20
- Count forwards and/or backwards from any number up to 20
- Say the number before and/or after in the range 0-20
- Order numbers to 20
- Know groupings with and/or within 5
- Read symbols for halves and quarters
- Solve addition and/or subtraction problems to 10 by counting all the objects
