In this course we will investigate situations that involve elements of chance by comparing experimental distributions with expectations from models of the possible outcomes, acknowledging variation and independence.

To do this we will use simple fractions and percentages to describe probabilities.

This course is for students working predominantly at level 4.

We might get into some simple statistical investigations also.

Fractions: writing, comparing, simplifying, converting to decimal / percentage.
Percentages: ordering, meaning, finding.
