2018 term 3 Mindfulness
We will continue to work with the Mindful Movers, two experts trained by Mindful Schools, in brief sessions once a week through term 3. In these workshops students will focus on developing mindfulness - the quality of paying attention in an open, balanced and curious way. We will be developing mindful bodies when we engage in led stretches and an awareness of our own bodies, mindful listening focussed on a bell or ambient internal/external sounds, mindful breathing and 'heartfulness'; using intentional thoughts and cultivating positive mind states.
We will be developing the skills and strategies we learn further in sessions led by HB Learning Advisors.
