As I live and breathe.
Link to Course Overview
We will look at the full animal kingdom in terms of increasingly complex adaptations. These adaptations primarily relate to breathing and the ability to deliver nutrients to their cells (a concept thoroughly explored in term 2). We are slowly constructing our world view of organisms on earth. Now we will get into the nitty gritty of how animals adapt to ensure survival. We will have enough scope to look at two branches of adaptation. Namely gas exchange and circulatory systems across the animal kingdom. We will discover new ways to look at how advanced mammals are and how well adapted we are to survive.
