LA Code:

This term, we'll spend the majority of our time analysing the main ideas in 'Ender's Game' by Orson Scott Card. We’ll then move on to the creation of visual texts (based on the novel) at the end of the block, or the start of 2.2 as time allows. Any new students to the course should have read the first half of the book before the term starts.

We'll also continue our NCEA standard on personal responses to texts - so through the year, you'll be expected to independently read/view and reflect on some interesting texts of your own choosing. By the end of this term, we'll have completed four out of the six responses required.

*Parental Warning* - the written texts we study will be age-appropriate for Y11 students and upwards, and some of the visual texts in this course will be R13.
