Clone of International Food and Culture (Kirsty Green)
Beginning with a map of the world, we will co-create a cooking and culture course for the four weeks. Some possible directions we could take are:
-focussing on a different country each week spending one lesson researching culture and a recipe and then cooking the recipe during the second lesson;
-each group choosing one country, creating a slide show about that country and demonstrating a dish to the rest of the class;
-inviting friends and family in to class to demonstrate an international dish to us; and
You need to come to this class prepared to work in a group. There will be a $16 fee to cover the cost of ingredients.
