2017 Term 2: Level 1b-2b : Sharp Reading Program
To work with students through guided reading to learn comprehension and retell ability of texts.
Skills such as chunking, sounding out, reading for meaning.
We will use journals as a tool for reading and Hiton Ayery activities to strengthen understanding of text after group discussion.
To work on skills I THINK THIS MEANS, silent reading and comprehension focus.
This also includes one to one reading with Zoe three times a week. Sam, Maia, Charlotte, Neshaun
Or a small group of purple Inky Anna or gold readers. Rosie Arnau, Jacob, Jackson
Some chn have been double grouped also at their comp level not just their decode level.
