During maths week we rotated around homebases and did different challenges.
The LA's in HB Kea hosted a building challenge. There were lots of different materials including:

- Plastic cups
- Wooden cubes
- Ice block sticks
- Straws and connectors
- Multilink blocks
- Marble runs
- Cards
- Tooth picks
- Plasticine

We had a variety of pictures of famous bridges and buildings as provocation.
We made some structures then measured how tall they were, we made bridges and put heavy things on them, then measured how much the heavy things weighed.

Some of our bridges were strong enough to hold over 1kg. Some of our towers were over 2m tall!
