The core component of physics: MECHANICS! We will investigate motion, speed vs velocity, forces, energy and power. This is the last component of the Level 1 Science year­-long course and will be immediately followed by the practice exam week, involving what you’ve learnt in Mechanics, but also Genetics and Acids & Bases. After the practice exam week students will undertake a 4-credit internally-assessed experimental investigation.
